Twenty -three persons, including former land command officer Pramuth Ranjan Ghatak, have been charged with allegedly embezzling Tk 10 crore by making fake papers of government Khas land and the property owned by others in the acquisition of land for various projects including Padma Bridge multipurpose projects. The officer is currently the Assistant Director of the National Freedom Fighters Council Dhaka. The matter was confirmed by the ACC on Wednesday morning.

According to the 5 ACC case, the Padma Multipurpose Bridge project, including the government Khas, VP property and various owners’ property papers with fraud, with fraud. Against the 23 checks, 9 crore 97 lakh 85 thousand 5 4taka picks up in different names. Former LAO Ranjan Ghatak of the Madaripur DC office, the ACC has found evidence of being directly involved in the fraud.

Besides, two surveyors who were working at the same time. Russell Ahmed and Md. Nasiruddin was reported to be involved. Pramuth Ranjan Ghatak has been made the main accused in the ACC case. Besides, the surveyor said. Russell Ahmed and Md. Nasir Uddin was accused.
