There is good news for the indexed teachers of MPO-affiliated private educational institutions. Today (October 27) the Ministry of Education has approved the transfer of these teachers against the vacancies, which will be published in the form of notification soon.

Education Advisor Wahiduddin Mahmud said that the transfer process of indexed teachers will be based on a software-based criteria, where seniority, distance to their district and gender will be considered. But not yet finalized; Have to wait for notification.

He said, this is an effective initiative to alleviate the long-standing plight of low-paid teachers. He questioned why no action was taken in this regard even after the centralized system was introduced in 2015.

Sources in the Ministry of Education said that according to the recruitment circular of NTRCA, indexed teachers can change institutions by applying on the basis of merit list in any subsequent public notification. However, they were deprived of this facility in the fourth and fifth public notices due to the temporary suspension of Article No. 7 of the circular of 2015, as a result of which many people are in trouble.

Through this decision of the Ministry of Education, private teachers under MPO can apply for transfer after the notification is issued

এমপিওভুক্ত বেসরকারি শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের ইনডেক্সধারী শিক্ষকদের জন্য সুখবর এসেছে। আজ (২৭ অক্টোবর) শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয় শূন্যপদের বিপরীতে এসব শিক্ষকদের বদলির অনুমোদন দিয়েছে, যা শিগগিরই প্রজ্ঞাপন আকারে প্রকাশিত হবে।

শিক্ষা উপদেষ্টা ওয়াহিদউদ্দিন মাহমুদ জানান, ইনডেক্সধারী শিক্ষকদের বদলি প্রক্রিয়া সফটওয়্যারভিত্তিক একটি মানদণ্ড অনুযায়ী হবে, যেখানে জ্যেষ্ঠতা, নিজ জেলার দূরত্ব এবং লিঙ্গ বিবেচনা করা হবে। তবে এখনো চূড়ান্ত হয়নি; প্রজ্ঞাপনের জন্য অপেক্ষা করতে হবে।

তিনি বলেন, স্বল্প বেতনের শিক্ষকদের দীর্ঘদিনের দুর্দশা নিরসনে এটি একটি কার্যকর উদ্যোগ। ২০১৫ সালে কেন্দ্রীভূত ব্যবস্থা চালু হওয়ার পরও এ বিষয়ে কেন আগেই পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হয়নি, তা নিয়ে প্রশ্ন তোলেন তিনি।

শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয় সূত্র জানায়, এনটিআরসিএ’র নিয়োগ পরিপত্র অনুযায়ী, ইনডেক্সধারী শিক্ষকরা পরবর্তী যেকোনো গণবিজ্ঞপ্তিতে মেধাতালিকার ভিত্তিতে আবেদন করে প্রতিষ্ঠান পরিবর্তন করতে পারেন। তবে ২০১৫ সালের পরিপত্রের ৭ নম্বর অনুচ্ছেদ সাময়িক স্থগিত হওয়ায় চতুর্থ ও পঞ্চম গণবিজ্ঞপ্তিতে তারা এই সুবিধা থেকে বঞ্চিত হন, যার ফলে অনেকে সমস্যায় পড়েছেন।

শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের এ সিদ্ধান্তের মাধ্যমে এমপিওভুক্ত বেসরকারি শিক্ষকরা প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি হওয়ার পর থেকেই বদলির জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন।
