The post of assistant head teacher is being created in government primary schools. Manpower will be recruited for this newly created post.

On October 16, the Ministry of Public Administration gave a letter agreeing to the proposal of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education to create the post.

The Directorate of Primary Education says that a notification will be published within the next six months for the purpose of recruiting 9,572 assistant head teachers.

The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education had proposed to the Ministry of Public Administration to create 65 thousand 566 assistant head teachers posts in government primary schools. After scrutinizing this proposal, the Ministry of Public Administration has recommended for the creation of 9 thousand 572 posts. In primary schools where the number of students is more than 250, Assistant Headmasters will be appointed.

According to the letter of the Ministry of Public Administration, in view of the memorandum of August 1 of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, the consent of the Ministry of Public Administration has been notified under certain conditions for the creation of 9 thousand 572 posts of assistant head teachers for government primary schools under the Directorate of Primary Education. However, some conditions have been added in this case.

The terms are—

All the formalities should be completed with the approval of the finance department’s expenditure management and

implementation department;

Recommendations of Secretary Committee regarding administrative development should be taken;

Principal Adviser’s approval as applicable;The approval of the minister of the concerned ministry must be obtained before issuing the post creation order;

Since the posts created are eligible for promotion, the posts created must be included in the Government Primary School Teacher Recruitment Rules and processed for promotion;

A copy of the post creation pagination should be sent to the Organization and Management Division of the Ministry of Public Administration and All the conditions imposed by the Ministry of Public Administration must be mentioned in the official sanction letter for creation of post.

In this regard, an official of the Department of Primary Education told the media, “Initially, this post did not exist before.” Since this is a new post, what will be the eligibility for this post, how will the exam be conducted, how much will be the salary—these things have been sent to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education to be included in our primary recruitment policy. The ministry sent it back to the public administration. The appointment rules for this post will be finalized soon after the meeting of the public administration ministry with our ministry.

In response to the question of when the notification for this post can be published, an official of the Directorate of Primary Education said, “After the post is included in the recruitment rules, there will be no further process.” We will try to publish notifications as soon as possible.
